Make a Date with Friends of Apes

Organised by the Jane Goodall Foundation – a global nonprofit focused on inspiring individual action to improve the understanding, welfare and conservation of great apes – this two-day fundraiser  comprises a Gala Lunch and special storytelling event with chimpanzee expert Dr Deus Mjungu.

In his role as Director of Chimpanzee Research at Gombe National Park in Tanzania, Dr Mjungu will share some of his most fascinating personal stories of working with chimpanzees as part of his series Tales of Africa.

Great Eastern Women’s Run

With a choice of a 5K for the fun runners or a 10K and half-marathon for the more hardcore, this ladies-only event helps raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation and Women’s Health Research and Education Fund.

There’s also a 2km ‘Mummy + Me’ race and a 100m Princess Dash for 3-6 year-olds offering a great opportunity for some family fun time and an even better way to get both you and your kids out and active.
