Organised by the Jane Goodall Foundation – a global nonprofit focused on inspiring individual action to improve the understanding, welfare and conservation of great apes – this two-day fundraiser comprises a Gala Lunch and special storytelling event with chimpanzee expert Dr Deus Mjungu. In his role as Director of Chimpanzee Research at Gombe National Park in Tanzania, Dr Mjungu will share some of his most fascinating personal stories of working with chimpanzees as part of his series Tales of Africa. Date: Sunday 14 October (Tales from Africa with Dr Deus Njungu) For more information, and to get involved click this link And check out our interview with Singapore primatologist Andie Ang, where we discuss the impact large scale agriculture is having on wildlife habitats around the world, and what each of us can do to help. There’s also a 2km ‘Mummy + Me’ race and a 100m Princess Dash for 3-6 year-olds offering a great opportunity for some family fun time and an even better way to get both you and your kids out and active.
