Kale and White Bean Soup

A hearty soup filled with nutritious kale.


  • 150g chopped Sustenir kale (either Kinky Kale or Toscano Kale)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large yellow onions diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
    2 medium carrot diced
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 celery rib diced
  • 4 cups cooked navy beans
  • 3 cups vegetable stock (to taste)
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper


  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onions and garlic until it is translucent.
  2. Add in the Sustenir kale, carrots, celery and rosemary and stir fry until it is fragrant.
  3. Add the navy beans to the pot and stir.
  4. Add the vegetable stock and bring it to a boil.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve it hot!
